The Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), Prachanda was born on November 26, 2011 in Dhikurpokhari VDC Ward No.-2, Lewade, Kaski district. The eldest son of father Muktiram and mother Bhawani, Prachanda received his early education in Dhikurpokhari, Kaski. He passed his S.L.C. from Narayani Vidyamandir Secondary School, Shivnagar, Chitwan in 2026, completed his I.S.C. from Patan Multiple Campus in 2027-2029, and completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Rampur Agriculture Campus in 2031-2033 BS. He has studied up to M.P.A. Prachanda, who changed his name to Chhabilal Dahal and named him Pushpa Kamal Dahal while studying in class 10. While in underground from BS 2038 to 2063, he was named Kalyan, Vishwas, Nirman and Prachanda. Currently, he takes pride in being called Prachanda rather than Pushpa Kamal. He entered the Fourth General Convention in 2034 BS and was elected as a full-time cadre in 2035 BS and as a member of the Chitwan District Committee in 2036 BS. He In 2038, he was elected as a regional bureau member and general secretary of the central committee of the All Nepal Youth Union and as the central president of the union in 2040. In 2041, he was elected as a central member from the fifth general convention of the CPN (Mashal), a member of the Politburo in 2042, a general secretary in 2046, and the general secretary of the CPN (Unity Center) in 2048. Similarly, after the third expanded meeting held after the first national conference of the then CPN-Unity Center in 2051, Prachanda, who became the general secretary after changing the name of the party to CPN (Maoist), led the people's war that began in 2052. In 2057, he became the president of the CPN (Maoist) from the second national conference. In 2058, Prachanda, who was the supreme commander of the People's Liberation Army of Nepal, came to public from underground life in Kathmandu by holding a press conference in Baluwatar on 2 Asad 2063. He was elected as the first Prime Minister of the Republic of Nepal in Shrawan 2065. In 2069 BS, he became the Chairman of the Greater Lumbini Development Steering Committee. In 2069 BS, he was elected as the Chairman at the National Conference held in Hetauda. In 2070 BS, he was re-elected as the Chairman at the Unity General Convention held in Biratnagar. He has also served as the Coordinator of the High-Level Political Committee. He also played a guardian role in the drafting of the Constitution of Nepal. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', elected from Siraha Constituency No.-5 in the second Constituent Assembly elections, 2070 BS, was elected as the 39th Prime Minister of the Government of Nepal on Shrawan 19, 2073 BS by obtaining a majority of 363 members in the Legislature-Parliament. In the House of Representatives member elections held on Mangsir 21, 2074 BS, Chairman Prachanda was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Chitwan Constituency No.-3 by obtaining 48276 votes. He became the executive chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) after the party merger between the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Center) on 23 February 2075 and the formation of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN). After the Supreme Court's decision on 23 February 2077, the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Center) returned to their previous status, he is currently the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center). He was elected from Gorkha Constituency No.-2 in the House of Representatives election held on 4 November 2079 by securing 26,109 votes. Elected as the Prime Minister on 10 December 2079, he took a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives on 26 December 2079. He has set an unprecedented record in the history of Nepal by securing 268 votes in the House of Representatives attended by 270 MPs.
