Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the votes received in the local level by-elections 2081 BS have been taken as an endorsement by the people of the agenda and campaign put forward by the Maoist Center.
Chairman Prachanda made this statement today through a press release while thanking the voters, the general public, party leaders and workers, the Election Commission, civil servants, security agencies, and the media sector who cast their valuable votes for the party in the local level by-elections 2081.
Stating that the party has achieved encouraging success in terms of both the number of elected representatives and public opinion, Chairman Prachanda said, “Our party had taken this election as a new resolution against corruption and in favor of good governance. In particular, we had taken the by-election as an opportunity to clarify the party’s future path and vision by taking the agenda of good governance, social justice, and economic prosperity put forward by our party-led government to the people’s level. The party has achieved encouraging success in terms of both the number of elected representatives and public opinion. Our party highly respects the enthusiastic support expressed by the people, even breaking through unwanted alliances formed in various places. This has confirmed that the people have approved the agenda put forward by our party and the campaign it is trying to carry forward.”
During the meeting, Chairman Prachanda also stated that the party is committed to fully mobilizing all the party’s representatives to serve the people, focusing on the main agenda of good governance, social justice, and economic prosperity.
